What is the cost of attending SSS?
Tuition for Summer 2009 tuition for the short summer session will be determined in the future and posted here once confirmed.
When are tuition and fee payments due?
All payments are due in full on the last day of the final phase of registration for the term. The Short Summer Session for 2009 dates have yet to be determined but will be posted here once they are confirmed.
Will financial aid be available?
Yes. U.S. Citizen and Permanent Resident students may apply for financial aid.
How and when do I apply for financial aid for SSS?
1. Complete the 2008-2009 FAFSA at www.fafsa.ed.gov
2. Complete the Summer 2009 Georgia Tech Application for Scholarships and Financial Aid at http://www.finaid.gatech.edu/forms/ which will be available after January 15th, 2009.
Both applications should be received in the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid (OSFA) by the priority deadline of May 1. The OSFA will continue to accept these applications until the Federal FAFSA deadline of June 30.
How and When do I apply for HOPE scholarship only for SSS?
Note that the HOPE Scholarship for qualified Georgia residents requires either the applications above or a separate application process, which should also be completed by May 1. For more information, visit www.finaid.gatech.edu/hope
How and When do I apply for Financial Aid for 2008-2009?
A separate FAFSA and Georgia Tech Application for Scholarships and Financial Aid must be completed to be considered for any aid programs for Fall 2008-Spring 2009. Visit www.fafsa.ed.gov and www.finaid.gatech.edu/forms/ to complete the 2008-2009 forms. The priority deadline was March 1, 2008. All students should apply by August 1, 2008.
