Carpet Industry Scholarship

The income of the fund provides support for the Carpet Industry Scholarships to qualified students. The scholarships will be awarded by the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid, or its successor, to undergraduate students who are U.S. citizens and who have demonstrated financial need and academic merit. In awarding the scholarships, preference should be given to students transferring from Dalton State College or other colleges in the University System of Georgia through the Regents' Engineering Transfer Program (REPT) or its equivalent. Recipients of the scholarship must have an interest in the carpet industry and should be enrolled (in priority order) in a: (a) degree program in the School of Polymer, Textile, and Fiber Engineering; (b) degree program in the School of Chemical and Bimolecular Engineering; (c.) degree program in the School of Industrial and Systems Engineering, (d) degree program in the School of Mechanical Engineering, (e) minor or certificate program in the School of Polymer, Textile, and Fiber Engineering; or (f) degree program in the College of Management.
