Applying only for the HOPE/Zell Miller Scholarship

The steps listed below are the most widely used process for Georgia residents who are seeking to be considered only for the HOPE Scholarship. Complete and submit two forms:

1. Georgia Tech Application for Scholarships and Financial Aid (GT APP)
To receive your HOPE/Zell Miller scholarship, you are required to complete the online GT APP after November 1 for the following fall semester.
Priority deadline: MARCH 1

Georgia Student Financial Aid Application System (GSFAPPS)
To receive your HOPE/Zell Miller Scholarship, the state requires that you complete an online GSFAPPS application, which is available on the Georgia Student Finance Commission Web site (www.GAcollege411.org). You must select Georgia Institute of Technology as the school you plan to attend.

Note: Students completing the FAFSA instead of GSFAPPS will also be considered for HOPE/Zell Miller.
